Crinum calamistratum has dark green and slim leaves. It is easier to place in an aquarium as it forms smaller bulbs than the other Crinum species. This attractive plant has little demands except for a rich substrate and medium lighting. Under good conditions, small bulbs are formed and these can grow into new plants. This plant is avoided by herbivorous fishes.
